Smetana Hotel (formerly Pachtuv Palace) is a family-owned boutique hotel with almost 400 years of history. Once a royal palace of the Pachta family playing host to the likes of Mozart (1756 – 1791), Casanova (1725 – 1798) and Wagner (1813 – 1883), the hotel retains a majestic glamour with ornate décor, crystal chandeliers and ceiling frescoes.
